Freestyle

Central Otago Whitewater has several notable freestyle features on local rivers. The Dolittle Wave on the Dog-leg Section of the Kawarau River, and the entire Upper Shotover run are well known. There are several lesser known spots where you can practice the latest moves and get your surf on; the Jolly Wave is located on the Upper Clutha, and the Roaring Meg run has two good holes at varying flows (Sticky White Stuff, and the Put-In Hole).
